3-D Magic
Card Tricks
The Prediction
The Effect
Be able to identify the card's face value from the back side.
Instructions
- Place the deck in either hand. Without the audience knowing, view the top card using 3-D Vision. Remember the number of the magic card.
- Grab something to write on and explain to the audience that you are going to write down the card your participant is going to pick.
- At this time you should begin to shuffle the deck at least 3 to 4 times.
Important: When shuffling, always keep the magic card on top of the deck.
- Split the deck in two stacks on the table and ask the participant to choose one of the stacks.
Important: Always leave the stack with the magic card on the table.
- Split the deck again and place the two stacks next to each other. Have the participant pick one of the two stacks. This time, pick up the stack with the magic card and place the remaining cards aside
- Ask the participant to pick a number between one and seven. For example if they choose three, lay the three cards down side by side. Take away the card's one by one until the magic card is picked.
- When they do pick the magic card, explain to the participant and the audience, this is the card he or she picked. You should now remind everyone about the number you wrote down earlier, ie. the magic number. While you allow the participant to pick up the magic card and look at it, you are reaching for the paper with their number written on it. Show the paper with their number written on it and reveal the magic. This will blow their mind! Never forget to keep the secret!
Recommendation
Each time you split the deck, rotate the magic card stack from left to right. Doing this will throw the audience off even more.
